KFFR 88.3FM: County Election Candidates Forum
On September 17th at 6 PM, KFFR hosted a live Election Candidates Forum in front of a studio audience. The event was broadcast live on KFFR 88.3 FM and KWTR 89.1 FM, as well as streamed worldwide on KFFR.org and radio apps that host KFFR.
The recording of that event is now available to stream in its entirety. Slight front and back trimming and vocal enhancements to make participant volume audible, this file represents the raw, unedited event exactly as it happened.
About This Forum:
Community-Driven Questions: Every single question posed during the forum reflected direct input from the community, not KFFR, with themes that consisted of: government transparency, public trust, growth, elections, county services, budgets, and the future of Grand County. The candidates were sent these compiled community questions in advance to prepare their answers. Due to time constraints, the most common inquiries were summarized to allow candidates to address the public’s core concerns.
Nonpartisan Platform: As an independent, “genre-neutral” nonprofit community radio station, KFFR is dedicated to connecting Grand County and encouraging civic participation. We are not a news organization, we do not endorse political candidates, and we do not accept campaign funds or party donations.
This forum was hosted purely as a public service to inform voters across Grand County.
